Share Your Science at ASNC2024
All physicians, scientists and technologists are invited to submit their science for consideration to be presented at ASNC2024. 

Scientific Abstracts may be submitted with either clinical or basic research and are considered for either oral or poster presentation. All accepted abstracts will be published in the Journal of Nuclear Cardiology (JNC).

Cases from the Community should be interesting cases that cover day-to-day highly practical dilemmas, and illustrate clinical decision making with teaching points. Cases from the Community submissions will be considered for oral presentation only and will not be published in the JNC.

All ASNC Fellows-in-Training members whose abstracts are accepted will receive complimentary ASNC2024 registration.

Reasons to Submit Your Abstract

Scientific Abstracts may be submitted with either clinical or basic research and are considered for either oral or poster presentation.

Barry L. Zaret Young Investigator Awards Competition

Overview:
Six finalists will be selected from top scoring abstract submissions and invited to compete orally in the Barry L. Zaret Young Investigator Awards Competition at ASNC2024. Participation includes giving a 7-8 minute presentation followed by 4-5 minutes of moderated discussion
 with Q&A from our esteemed panel of judges.

Eligibility:

Any physician or scientist age 35 years or younger, who is currently in a residency or fellowship or other training program, or within three years of finishing clinical or research training.

Rules:

  • Finalists must present live, in person at ASNC2024 in Austin, Texas. Virtual presentations will not be allowed.

  • Industry employees are not eligible to present abstracts in the competition. However, abstracts with authors that are industry employees may be presented by another author with no industry affiliation.

  • Abstracts are not eligible for consideration if the same work has been published or presented at a U.S. national or international meeting at the time of submission.

Award Details:

  • Two first place winners (one clinical and one emerging science) will be selected among the finalists to receive the Barry L. Zaret Young Investigator $500 Awards. 

  • All six finalists will receive a $500 stipend, complimentary ASNC2024 registration, and a certificate of merit.


Note: Abstracts not accepted for the competition will automatically be considered for a poster presentation.
