ASNC2017's Planning Committee, led by Donna M. Polk, MD, FASNC, will soon announce program details, presenters, special events and more. To kick things off, ASNC extends an early and enthusiastic invitation to join us in our wonderful host city, Kansas City, Missouri.
You won't believe the range of activities available in Kansas City, so we'll share them a few at a time, in each issue of Imaging Insights. Our guarantee: There's something for everyone, including YOU!
- Bringing the kids? For family-friendly fun, check out the LegoLand Discover Center, Sea Life Kansas City Aquarium or the Worlds of Fun Amusement Park.
- Ready to stretch your legs? Hike, run or bike on any of the city's scenic trails, including the Armourdale Hike & Bike Route, Lewis & Clark Park at Kaw Point and Wyandotte County Lake Park.
- Historic & inspirational: Walking distance from ASNC2017, Kansas City's National World War I Museum is one of only two World War I museums in the United States and is sure to inspire.
- Feelin' the need for speed? Check out Kansas City's dirt-track action on the dirt track! On Friday, Sept. 15, after an inspiring day of ASNC's premier Nuclear Cardiology education, attend the Lakeside Speedway race, a NASCAR-sanctioned track featuring Late Model, Modified and Stock Car racing.
For many more wonderful Kansas City attractions, watch for the next issue of Imaging Insights and, in the meantime, make plans to join us at ASNC2017, Sept. 14-17! We'll see you there.
