ASNC Participates in ALASBIMN in Chile

More than 430 attendees from Latin America and Spain attended the XXVI Asociación Latinoamericana de Sociedades de Biología y Medicina Nuclear (ALASBIMN) meeting, where ASNC presented the awards for the top nuclear cardiology abstracts:
  • Top prize: “Absolute Quantification of the Perfusion Defect in Stress Myocardial SPECT/CT imaging,” by M. Namías, F. Funes, A. Palau San Pedro and R. Agüero, of Fundación Centro Diagnóstico Nuclear, Comisión Nacional de Energía Atómica, GEDRE Comisión Nacional de Energía Atómica, Buenos Aires  
  • Second place: “Factors Associated with Autonomic and Peripheral Neuropathy and Myocardial Ischemia in Diabetes Mellitus 2 Patients, Cardiovascular Asymptomatic, Studied with Exercise Myocardial SPECT. IAEA CRP CHI 13636,” by L. Alarcón, T. Massardo, V. Araya, H. Prat, A. Pino I. Berrocal, R. Jaimovich, F. Cordero, R. Fernández, E. Herrera, J. Carmona and A.
