ImageGuide Registry Achieves Participation Milestone

The ImageGuide Registry® , founded less than three years ago, already contains more than 6,000 patient records for both PET and SPECT imaging tests. Achieving this milestone is important because this magnitude will allow the registry to develop a clear picture of noninvasive imaging nationwide and explore new opportunities for quality improvement in nuclear cardiology.
the ImageGuide Registry® experienced a large influx of registrations and submitted patient records when the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced the start of the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS). The ImageGuide Registry's status as a Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) allows participants to report on nuclear cardiology-specific measures not only for the MIPS Quality Category but also in both the Advancing Care Information (ACI) and Improvement Activities (IA) Categories. Many of the 100+ physicians from 40+ facilities and health systems who are enrolled in ImageGuide are using the Registry to fulfill their MIPS reporting requirement.

With the recent addition of the American Society of Echocardiography ImageGuide Echo module, the ImageGuide Registry is continuing to expand and address a broader scope of cardiac imaging through the data collection, reporting and benchmarking of both nuclear and echocardiography studies in one robust tool.
