Breaking: ASNC Announces Choosing Wisely Challenge Finalists

The finalists for ASNC's Third Annual Nuclear Cardiology Choosing Wisely® Challenge have been selected and the finalists are preparing to square off on the ASNC2018 stage.
The special Choosing Wisely® Challenge session will be held on Saturday, Sept. 8 at 4:15 p.m. It will bring the nuclear cardiology community together to discuss some of the field's most original ideas for helping clinicians and patients collaboratively choose care that is supported by evidence, not duplicative of other tests or procedures already received, free from harm and truly necessary.

This year, we received many outstanding submissions and we would like to thank all those who submitted proposals.

And the finalists are...

Christopher Johnson, MDFeasibility & Initial Results of a Decision to Test Algorithm Using DASI in Operable Lung Cancer Patients; David Min, MD, Systematic Cardiac Risk Assessment with PET/CT Myocardial Perfusion Imaging using an Objective Risk Score Approach; Nishant Shah, MD, PhD, Point-of-Order Consultation Reduces Rarely Appropriate Testing and Allows for Test-Independent Cardiovascular Risk Reduction

Mark your calendar to join the panel of judges as they debate the merits of each presentation and the future of cardiovascular imaging. See you in San Francisco!

Thank You
ASNC thanks Bracco Diagnostics Inc. for sponsorship of ASNC's Nuclear Cardiology Choosing Wisely® Challenge.
