ASNC's ImageGuide Registry Earns QCDR Designation for 2016

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has recognized ASNC's ImageGuide Registry as a Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) for 2016. The designation allows ImageGuide Registry–participating physicians the opportunity to meet Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) requirements by reporting on quality measures. Negative payment adjustments under PQRS are expected to increase with the implementation of the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act's MIPS program.
ASNC anticipates that laboratories participating in the ImageGuide Registry will be able to satisfy the regulatory requirements of Medicare and third-party payers, thereby maximizing reimbursement. The ImageGuide Registry also helps users demonstrate adherence to appropriate use criteria, an increasingly important mandate of healthcare policy.
