ASNC Webinars

ASNC Webinars are dedicated to important topics in nuclear cardiology and cardiovascular imaging. The webinars are presented live online and registrants will have the opportunity to listen and learn from experts in the field. Select webinars will be available for an OnDemand learning experience.

View the full portfolio of online education available for CME/CE credits. ASNC also works with industry partners to host Industry Webinars covering key topics in the field.

OnDemand Webinars

OnDemand - Cardiac PET—Solutions for Adoption

Watch "Cardiac PET – Solutions for Adoption," where you'll delve into the Appropriate Use Criteria (AUC) for Cardiac PET and explore affordable solutions to facilitate its widespread adoption. Gain insights into the latest AUC guidelines, learn how Cardiac PET can impact patient management across various clinical scenarios, and discover cost-effective strategies to integrate this advanced diagnostic technology into healthcare facilities.

OnDemand - Nuclear Cardiology Around the World: A PatientFirst Approach, Europe

This webinar focuses on what can be learned from the European approach to common clinical problems seen in nuclear cardiology laboratories around the world. The webinar features four case presentations including infection, inflammation, amyloidosis and microvascular disease, and address the role of hybrid imaging to enhance diagnosis.

Registration is required to access the webinar.

OnDemand - Rules of the Road: Navigating the Regulations of Cardiac Imaging

This webinar presents information to help you avoid significant legal ramifications, potentially including costly fines, damage to personal and professional reputations, and even incarceration. Experts provide an overview of the Anti-kickback Statute and Stark Law as well as real-world scenarios highlighting considerations specific to cardiac imaging.

Members: Complimentary
Non-members: $25

OnDemand - Cardiovascular PET: Moving into F-18 Myocardial Perfusion Imaging – Insights from Experts

Access a collection of four short interviews that will provide you with important insights from ASNC2023's symposium, "Cardiovascular PET: Transitioning into F-18 Myocardial Perfusion Imaging" where leaders from the session will provide you with:

  • a comprehensive understanding of F-18 tracers;
  • the transition from SPECT to PET imaging;
  • the changes needed for F-18 tracers compared to other cardiac PET tracers;
  • the significance of MBF and how it will be impacted by a retained tracer;
  • clinical data on F-18 flurpiridaz; and
  • the existing challenges of establishing cardiac PET centers around the world.
Members: Complimentary
Non-members: $25

Nuclear Cardiology Around the World: A PatientFirst
Approach—Latin America focuses on local and regionally available cardiac imaging modalities and how to leverage the best tests for patients with suspected cardiac diseases, including the role of PET-CT in evaluating patients with suspected infection and sarcoidosis. The webinar also covers the role of nuclear cardiology in a multimodality imaging era to evaluate coronary artery disease as well as in evaluating heart failure of ischemic etiology in patients with advanced coronary artery disease will also be reviewed.

The course will include perspectives on an aging population and other factors impacting rising heart failure cases in Latin America.

OnDemand - Choosing the Best Test for Your Patient in a Multimodality Imaging in Environment: Experts Debate Real-World Cases

Join us for a valuable and interactive learning experience for all clinicians who treat patients with suspected or confirmed ischemic heart disease. Work through the confusion about the appropriate use of diagnostic tests and help you and your referrers feel more confident about which test to recommend in different patient scenarios.

OnDemand - Journey to Nuclear Cardiology for Young Professionals: Get to Know the Experts

Watch as Sharmila Dorbala, MD, MPH, MASNC, Lawrence Phillips, MD, FASNC, Karthikeyan Ananthasubramaniam, MD, FASNC and Dennis Calnon, MD, MASNC share their journeys to nuclear cardiology and the opportunities ASNC will offer you at ASNC2022 and throughout the year.

OnDemand - Cardiac Amyloidosis in Latin America: Current Situation and Perspectives (in Spanish)

The overall goal of this webinar is to establish an understanding among Latin American countries of the need for ongoing education related to the epidemiology of the disease and identification of patients at risk for cardiac amyloidosis, the role of nuclear scintigraphy in diagnosing patients and the important information provided by an integrated method for diagnosis.
